FEATURES
Interior/Exterior: Two-seat design that's fun yet functional! Just open the
hatch for access to the expansive cargo area! Making a bold statement with 16" Alloy wheels that broadcasts
it's handling prowess.
Performance: The CR-Z is powered by a 1.5-liter i-VTEC® 4 cylinder engine
with Integrated Motor Assist IMA®. This combination delivers both
performance and fuel economy* rarely seen in the hybrid
world! The battery pack, positioned low in
CR-Z's body structure for optimal center of gravity, supplies juice to
the Integrated Motor Assist system, giving the CR-Z abundant low-rpm
torque for quick off-the-line acceleration.
The CR-Z's sporting
credentials include a 6-speed manual transmission-the first production
hybrid vehicle ever to be equipped this way. The transmission allows
enthusiasts to drive the CR-Z to its maximum capabilities. Those who
choose the CVT automatic transmission, however, are treated to
racing-inspired paddle shifters that also provide driving excitement and
engagement.

Environment: The CR-Z was designed for excellent fuel economy[1], but
not at the expense of driving fun. With a combined EPA-estimated 37 mpg
(CVT)[1], the AT-PZEV-rated[2] CR-Z ranks as one of the more efficient
cars out there.
Eco
Assist* EPA numbers are important, but the way you drive also
affects the fuel economy[1] you achieve. The CR-Z features a guidance
system that helps boost your efficiency and monitor your own driving
habits to maximize your mpg. It's called Eco
Assist*[3] and it includes a green
ECON* button[3] that, when pressed, regulates certain vehicle
functions to maximize efficiency. The system also features real-time
feedback to help promote driver awareness of efficient driving habits on
a daily and ongoing basis. [1] 35

System: The
default position is Normal; whenever you turn the key it will
always start out in Normal mode, which provides standard settings for
all systems.
Sport mode allows the driver to
enjoy the performance side of the CR-Z to its fullest. In Sport mode,
the CR-Z will use the electric motor more aggressively, providing
quicker acceleration and throttle response. Sport mode also provides a
sharper steering feel-great for a curvy stretch of open
road.
If you're stuck in traffic on the freeway, you
could push the ECON* button. This will optimize vehicle
power and accessory load for maximum efficiency.
The
3-mode drive system makes the CR-Z a versatile machine and gives the
driver ultimate control over how the car should
perform.
